Cannot set print area due to multiple sheets being selected.

This behavior occurs because multiple sheets are being selected. When multiple sheets are being selected in a workbook, the 'Print Area' option appears dimmed (unavailable).
Solution:
Make sure only one worksheet is selected and then set the desired print area.
1) To make sure only one worksheet is selected, do one of the following:
a) Click sheet tab that is not currently selected.
b) Select the 'Insert' menu and select 'Worksheet' to insert a new worksheet or worksheets.
NOTE: After a new worksheet or worksheets are inserted, the newly inserted worksheet or the first of the newly inserted sheets is selected.
c) (Optional) Delete the inserted sheet(s).
1] Select the 'Edit' menu and select 'Delete Sheet'.
2] Click 'OK' in the displayed dialog box.
2) Set the desired print area:
a) Select the 'File' menu and select 'Page Setup...'. (The Page Setup dialog box appears.)
b) Click 'Sheet' tab. (The Print Area option should now be available.)
c) Set the desired print area in the 'Print Area' box.
